Le Trio Xenakis, composé des percussionnistes Adélaïde Ferrière, Emmanuel Jacquet et Rodolphe Théry, interprète le répertoire à travers les chefs-d’oeuvre de la musique contemporaine tout en mettant à l’honneur la diversité infinie du timbre propre à la percussion. Rendant hommage à Iannis Xenakis (1922-2001), l’un des premiers compositeurs à mettre en lumière l’instrument sous un jour solistique et chambriste, le trio allie la virtuosité rythmique aux sonorités riches et recherchées pour offrir des interprétations engagées.

Diplômés du Conservatoire de Paris, les trois musiciens vouent une passion commune à la découverte du répertoire contemporain, à la création et aux rencontres avec les artistes contemporains. Leur entrée en résidence à la Fondation Singer-Polignac en 2018, leur permet d’approfondir leur maîtrise du répertoire et de devenir Artistes Associés de la Fondation en 2025.

Le Trio s’est produit notamment sur les scènes de la Philharmonie de Paris, l’Auditorium de Radio-France, au Festival Ravel, Festival du Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, Bel-Air Claviers Festival, au Musée du Louvre et ses concerts ont été diffusés sur Arte, medici.tv, France Musique, Pathé Live et CultureBoxn En 2019, le Trio collabore avec Ivo van Hove et les comédiens de la Comédie Française pour la pièce Électre/Oreste, pour plus de 70 représentations à la salle Richelieu et au Théâtre Antique d’Épidaure.

Les trois percussionnistes ont eu la chance de collaborer avec Thierry Escaich, Yan Maresz, Othman Louati, Giani Caserotto et Yaron Herman, ainsi qu’avec des artistes d’horizons différents comme la danseuse Élodie Sicard, l’artiste lumière Vivian Daval ou encore le groupe Feu Chatterton. Ils ont eu également l’occasion de partager la scène avec les pianistes Théo Fouchenneret, Jonas Vitaud, Rodolphe Menguy, le Trio Messiaen ou encore le Quatuor Hanson. Intéressés par la dimension pluridisciplinaire de la scène classique et contemporaine, le Trio a également participé à l’inauguration du Cyclop de Jean Tinguely en mai 2022 et imaginé son premier spectacle lumière en 2023 au Festival Artonov de Bruxelles.

Les musiciens ont leur propre collection chez le label B.Records, et viennent de publier leur troisième disque Alliages en novembre 2024, consacré au grand répertoire contemporain pour percussions.

Paying homage to Iannis Xenakis (1922-2001), one of the first composers to highlight the instrument in a solo and chamber-style light, the trio combines rhythmic virtuosity with rich and refined sonorities to offer consistently engaging performances.

Graduates of the Conservatoire de Paris, the three musicians share a passion for exploring contemporary repertoire, creating new works, and engaging with contemporary artists. Their residency at the Fondation Singer-Polignac in 2018 allowed them to deepen their mastery of the repertoire and become Associate Artists of the Foundation in 2025.

In 2019, the Trio collaborated with Ivo van Hove and the actors of the Comédie Française on the play Electra/Oreste, for more than 70 performances at the Salle Richelieu and the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus.

The three percussionists have had the opportunity to collaborate with Thierry Escaich, Yan Maresz, Othman Louati, Giani Caserotto, and Yaron Herman, as well as with artists from diverse backgrounds such as dancer Élodie Sicard, lighting artist Vivian Daval, and the group Feu Chatterton. They have also had the opportunity to share the stage with pianists Théo Fouchenneret, Jonas Vitaud, Rodolphe Menguy, the Messiaen Trio, and the Hanson Quartet. Interested in the multidisciplinary dimension of classical and contemporary music, the Trio also participated in the inauguration of Jean Tinguely's Cyclop in May 2022 and created their first light show in 2023 at the Artonov Festival in Brussels.

The musicians have their own collection on the B.Records label and have just released their third album, Alliages, in November 2024, dedicated to the contemporary percussion repertoire.
