Trois lauréat.es, sélectionné.es sur dossier, se verront commander une pièce pour Trio de Percussions et accompagné.es par le Trio Xenakis lors de trois sessions de travail à la Fondation Singer-Polignac, qui mettra à disposition son parc instrumental et ses espaces lors de chaque session. Les trois oeuvres seront ensuite créées en avril 2026 lors du concert de clôture, et enregistrées chez le label B. Records, dans la collection du Trio.

L’objectif des trois musiciens est de rencontrer et d’accompagner la nouvelle génération de compositeurs, en leur apportant savoir-faire et expertise dans l’écriture pour percussions, tout en s’engageant dans la création contemporaine.

Lors des différentes sessions de travail, les deux compositeurs Pedro Garcia-Velasquez et Yan Maresz interviendront pour apporter leurs expériences et leurs réflexions sur l’écriture pour percussions.

Three prizewinners, selected on the basis of their applications, will be commissioned to write a piece for percussion trio, and will be accompanied by the Xenakis Trio during three work sessions at the Fondation Singer-Polignac, which will make its instruments and facilities available for each session. The three works will then be premiered at the closing concert in April 2026, and recorded on the B. Records label. Records, as part of the Trio's collection.

The aim of the three musicians is to meet and accompany a new generation of composers, providing them with know-how and expertise in writing for percussion, while engaging in contemporary creation.

During the various work sessions, the two composers Pedro Garcia-Velasquez and Yan Maresz will contribute their experience and thoughts on writing for percussion.
